First Bus are excited to be recruiting a Commercial Coach Executive to help drive the growth of our Coaching Division. This is a new role supporting the Commercial Manager on a full-time permanent basis ensuring the smooth running of King Coaches.

About the role: This role sits at the heart of our Coach business, supporting customers from their first enquiry through to final invoicing. As a Commercial Coach Executive, you’ll play a key part in driving revenue, maintaining accurate commercial records, and ensuring every customer receives a smooth and professional experience.
- Manage commercial finance reporting and produce weekly sales updates.
- Oversee the shared mailbox, responding to customer and internal enquiries promptly.
- Maintain contracts within internal systems and ensure accurate records throughout the process.
- Manage aged debt and credit control activity to support healthy cashflow.
- Prepare accurate quotes, convert them into bookings, and progress these to confirmed sales.
- Create customer invoices and ensure all billing is timely and correct.
- Handle incoming phone enquiries, providing helpful and professional support.
- Identify commercial opportunities through customer interactions and data insight.
- Manage and authorise pricing within agreed commercial parameters.
About you: Strong Excel skills and confidence working with data. Excellent organisation, with the ability to prioritise and work independently when needed. High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy across all tasks. Great customer-facing skills, as you’ll often be the first point of contact for clients. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines when required. A flexible, proactive, and positive “can-do” attitude.
