We are seeking an Accounts Payable Team Member to join our Finance team based in Aberdeen. Prior Accounts Payable experience is an advantage but not essential. We are looking for someone with general accounts knowledge, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
About the role
You will play a key role in ensuring our Accounts Payable processes run smoothly and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:
- Processing invoices and credit notes in line with Accounts Payable policies and procedures.
- Sending and following up on queries through our electronic authorisation system.
- Identifying opportunities to improve invoice automation rates, supporting greater efficiency.
- Working closely with Purchasing, suppliers, and internal/external customers to resolve invoice queries.
- Reviewing and updating internal processes and procedures to enhance accuracy and flow.
- Collaborating with the wider team to achieve shared targets and performance goals.
