The Team Lead, Space & Service Coordinators will assume a key role within the organization by leading and motivating colleagues in a way that enhances working relationships and encapsulates FIRST values and our client’s brand. The individual will ensure the Space & Service Coordinator (SSC) team delivers consistently exceptional service to our clients through excellent operational and logistical facilities management that exceeds client expectations.
Your Contributions:
- Directly manage a team of direct reports
- Develop, mentor, and provide feedback to team members on an ongoing basis
- Manage monthly audit reports as required by client and internal management, focusing on event volume, team capacity, and general event data
- Partner with the client on various strategic initiatives and projects
- Oversee workload of the team ensuring day-to-day understanding of capacity/pressure points and assisting/offering guidance on team’s events where required
- Manage vacation schedules, ensuring appropriate team coverage, and review all expense reports
- Oversee the on-boarding/off-boarding process for all SSCs
- Develop process documents and standard operating procedures
- Provide strategic partnership and expertise to the larger Event Management leadership team
- Ensure the team adheres to standard operating procedures and compliance processes
- Serve as an escalation point for any challenges in the SSC team's day-to-day delivery
- Propose and implement improvements to the intake processes
- Develop necessary training materials
- Liaise with global team as necessary to support alignment in processes
What We Are Looking For:
- 8-10 years of experience
- Must be fluent in English
- Excellent written and oral communication skills at all levels
- Decision maker and problem solver with a collaborative/team-player attitude
- Positive and caring approach to team management
- Creative, solution-oriented and resourceful, team player
- Adaptability to situations and ever-changing demands
- Highly organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks to meet strict deadlines

- Good/advanced working knowledge of the Google Workspace and MS Office Suite
