The Analytics Lead will play a pivotal role at FIRST bolstering the company’s AI and data capabilities. Reporting to the Director of Data and Analytics, you will be responsible for translating complex data into actionable intelligence that drives strategic decision-making and delivers measurable value to clients. This is a key role in FIRST's role as an intelligence-driven partner in the brand experiences sector. Your Contributions
- Client Intelligence and Insights: Lead the development and implementation of client intelligence solutions, predictive models and insight generation capabilities. Translate complex data sets into commercial insights that power decision-making for both internal stakeholders and clients. Design and implement predictive models that enhance event performance, client satisfaction and revenue forecasting. Develop approaches that transform event performance data into actionable insights.
- Advanced Analytics: Apply statistical modelling, machine learning techniques and data visualization to solve complex business challenges. Lead the design and execution of experiment design and A/B testing to optimize performance. Build and implement sophisticated analytical models that deliver against FIRST’s strategic objectives of productivity improvement and revenue generation. Create compelling data narratives that communicate insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strategic Leadership: Contribute to the transformation of FIRST's operating model through AI and data capabilities. Work with cross-functional teams to establish metrics, KPIs and robust measurement approaches. Support the development of AI-powered products and services that create differentiated client value. Partner with business units to define metrics that align with strategic objectives.
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred or Equivalent practical or technical experience required. Advanced degree in Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Science or related quantitative field.
- Position requires 3-5 years of experience.
- Technical Skills: Expert proficiency in Python and/or R for statistical modelling and data analysis. Strong understanding of business processes and how to apply analytics to improve them. Experience with machine learning techniques and their practical applications in business settings. Proven ability to build statistical models, perform advanced analysis, and generate meaningful insights.
- Business and Communication Skills: Exceptional business storytelling ability with a focus on translating complex data findings into clear, actionable recommendations. Demonstrated skill in consulting with business units to define metrics and KPIs. Strategic mindset with the ability to connect analytics work to business outcomes and revenue generation. Experience working with cross-functional teams and influencing decisions through data-driven insights.
- Industry Knowledge: 5+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence or data science roles. Experience in consulting, marketing, or professional services environments is beneficial. Track record of successfully implementing analytics solutions that drive measurable business impact.
