Location: Caledonia Depot, 100 Cathcart Road, G42 7BH

Contract & Hours: 37 hours per week (permanent, overtime available) – Nightshift 19:00‑06:00, 4 on 4 off

Pay & Bonuses: £22.91 per hour and a £2,000 joining bonus (terms apply).

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and carry out vehicle repairs, servicing and parts replacement
  • Diagnose vehicle faults and specify the correct method of repair and parts to be used
  • Carry out vehicle servicing and routine vehicle examinations using handheld data capture devices if applicable
  • Attend on‑road vehicle breakdowns and recoveries where required
  • Carry out vehicle road testing where necessary to identify specific vehicle defects after remedial repair

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum Level 3 NVQ/SVQ (or City & Guilds equivalent) in vehicle maintenance and repair – PSV/HGV preferred
  • Flexible approach to work with ability to multiskill
  • UK driving licence holder; PCV licence desirable (we can help achieve)
