Registered Manager Children's Residential Home

Salary: £35,000 - £42,000 per annum

Location: Southampton

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager or a Deputy Manager who is looking to step up to support the effective leadership of a child-centred residential home that is currently home to 2 children. This role is key to ensuring the home consistently meets Ofsted regulations, delivers high-quality care, and promotes positive outcomes for children.

Working as the Manager, you will help maintain a safe, nurturing, and stable environment, underpinned by therapeutic practice and strong safeguarding principles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safeguard and promote the welfare of children in line with legislation and best practice
  • Lead, supervise, and develop the staff team to deliver consistently high standards of care
  • Contribute to care planning, risk management, and regulatory compliance
  • Participate in the on-call rota when required

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 year's experience in a children's residential management role
  • Strong knowledge of Ofsted standards, safeguarding, and quality assurance
  • Hold either a Level 3 NVQ or Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management
  • Proficient in de-escalation of challenging behaviours
  • Full UK driving licence

Working hours are Monday to Friday however this may vary in accordance with the needs of the home.
