Salary: £55,120 - £64,120 per annum. Perks: car allowance, occupancy bonus, 32 days annual leave increasing for the first 3 years. Location: 5 bed EBD Home, London, NW1.

Our client is looking for an experienced Registered Manager to lead and manage an established 5-bed children\'s home in London.

Homes are rated Good or Outstanding by Ofsted and are committed to putting young people at the centre of everything they do.

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for the overall running of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance with Children\'s Home Regulations.
  • Taking responsibility for strategic planning, rota management, safeguarding and staff development.
  • Maintaining effective partnerships with professionals, agencies and the local community.
  • Taking a proactive role in staff supervision, mentoring, training, and ensuring high practice standards.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years\' Registered Manager experience in a children\'s residential setting, with strong safeguarding knowledge.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Caring for Children & Young People (or equivalent), or hold or have started NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (Children & Young People).
  • Strong understanding of the Children\'s Act 1989, Care Standards Act 2000, and Ofsted regulations.
  • Additional Information
  • The role is suitable for strong Deputy Managers looking to step up.
  • Candidates must be approved by Ofsted as a Registered Manager.
