We are seeking compassionate, reliable and enthusiastic Support Workers and Carers to join our agency team, providing high-quality support to adults and older people across Bristol and Bath.

This is a rewarding opportunity for experienced care professionals seeking flexible work.

You'll be supporting individuals with a range of needs, helping them to maintain their independence, dignity and quality of life in a safe, person-centred environment.

Duties include

  • Providing high-quality, person-centred care and support.
  • Assisting with personal care where required.
  • Supporting individuals with daily living activities and promoting independence.
  • Building positive, trusting relationships with the people you support.
  • Encouraging participation in activities and community engagement where appropriate.
  • Supporting with meals, hydration and medication (where trained and required).
  • Using safe moving and handling techniques in line with individual care plans.
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting any concerns appropriately.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues and other professionals to deliver excellent care.

We are looking for candidates who

  • Have previous experience in a care or support worker role.
  • Have experience supporting adults and/or older people with a range of complex needs, including dementia, learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs.
  • Are caring, patient, compassionate and enthusiastic about making a positive difference.
  • Are reliable, professional and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and enjoy building meaningful relationships.
  • Have an understanding of person-centred care and promoting dignity, choice and independence.
  • Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
