About the School: A highly supportive primary school in Sutton Coldfield is looking for a Year 2 Teacher to join their Primary team. The school values a nurturing approach and provides an excellent induction programme for KS1 Teachers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality KS1 lessons
- Support early literacy and numeracy development in young learners
- Work closely with teaching assistants and SENCO to support children with additional needs
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers to support children’s progress
- Engage in professional development and training to enhance teaching skills
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a passion for Key Stage 1 education
- Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and phonics schemes
- A patient, nurturing, and creative approach to teaching
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
