About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive school community in Telford. This role involves working closely with pupils who have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, helping them to access the curriculum, build confidence, and achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEND
- Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities
- Support pupils with a range of needs, including autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties
- Help create a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment
- Monitor and record pupil progress, reporting back to teachers and SENCO
- Support pupils' emotional wellbeing and social development
Requirements:
