Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to pupils\’ individual learning needs.
  • Work closely with the SENCO, support staff, and external professionals to ensure effective provision.
  • Use a range of strategies and resources to support pupils with needs such as autism, learning difficulties, speech and language needs, or social, emotional, and mental health challenges.
  • Monitor and assess progress, setting realistic and ambitious targets.
  • Create a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment.
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and carers to support holistic development.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school and support whole-school inclusion initiatives.
