First For Education are a specialist education recruitment agency established 20 years ago and we work closely with a large number of Middle and High schools across Worcestershire to support them with their short term and long term cover needs for Key Stage 3, 4 and 5. Our clients are reaching out to us for urgent support over this Summer Term to help them with staff absences and planned leave and the demand is there for Teachers with QTS or QTLS or someone who has been working as a cover supervisor. We may have the perfect role for you!

What we need for you to be considered for this role:

  • Someone with QTS or QTLS is desirable but if you have worked as a Cover Supervisor previously then we can also help!
  • Someone who can keep the sessions interesting and interactive for students.
  • Someone who can manage the behaviour of pupils in line with the school’s behaviour policy.
  • Someone who can create a positive and safe learning environment.
  • Someone who can deliver pre-planned lessons, in an engaging and creative way to your class.
  • Someone who is willing to mark students’ work in line with the school’s marking policy.
  • Someone who is able to create a positive learning environment that is inclusive for all students.
