Join First for Education – we’re hiring a reliable and hardworking School Cook in the Cradley area with a start date of 23rd April. The hours are 8:30am until 1:45pm, Monday to Friday. You’ll take pride in preparing nutritious meals and maintaining a clean, safe kitchen environment for students and staff. You will be supported by a catering assistant, but will have overall responsibility for meal preparation and kitchen compliance.

Please note: Compliance checks are required.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a cook preferred (School kitchen experience desirable but not essential)
  • Level 3 Food Hygiene qualification required
  • Able to work independently & follow instructions
  • Enhanced DBS required
  • Two professional references required

All our staff must hold a valid enhanced DBS. We can cross-check a current one through the DBS Update Service, or you must apply for a new one – we can help with that. All new staff are interviewed by a First for Education consultant.
