First for Education are seeking a Learning Mentor for a secondary school based in Dudley, helping pupils to adapt into the classroom and providing both academic and emotional support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement strategies and support learners in self-esteem and confidence-building activities.
  • Inspire and motivate learners and help to promote positive behaviour.
  • Listen to learners and help them resolve a range of issues that are creating barriers to their learning.

What we are looking for:

  • Excellent interactive and communication skills.
  • Must have experience working in schools with students KS3,4.
  • Strong ability to build relationships and promote positive behaviour.
