About the Role
We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming early years setting in Kidderminster. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting young children during the most important stage of their development. You will work alongside the nursery team to create a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment where children can learn through play and exploration.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the nursery staff in delivering engaging early years activities
- Assist with the care, supervision, and wellbeing of children aged 0–5
- Help create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
- Encourage children's social, emotional, and educational development
- Assist with preparing learning materials and activities
- Observe and report on children’s progress when required
Requirements
- Experience working with young children (nursery, preschool, or childcare setting preferred)
- A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare is desirable but not essential
- A patient, friendly, and supportive approach
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
