First For Education is currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Cover Supervisor to work at a thriving secondary school located in Kidderminster. This position will be for between 2 and 5 days each week. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in supporting students across KS3, KS4 and KS5, ensuring their access to the curriculum while maintaining a conducive learning environment for all. Your responsibilities will include delivering pre-planned lessons across various secondary subject areas.

What we are looking for:

  • The right candidates will need to demonstrate a clear passion for helping pupils learn.
  • You will need to have good punctuality and good personal organisational skills.
  • The day to day role includes:
  • Supervising the work that has been set on the lesson plan provided.
  • Using the necessary resources that have been provided in the room.
  • Managing the behaviour of pupils in line with the school’s behaviour policy.
  • Supporting learners.

You will need to have had experience working in a school, however full training for being a Cover Supervisor will be provided. You should also have a passion for secondary education. All our staff, including classroom supply teachers who register with us, must hold a valid, enhanced disclosure. We can cross-check a current one through the DBS update service or you must apply for a new one. We can help with that.
