First for Education (FFE) is seeking enthusiastic, reliable, and confident Cover Supervisors to work across secondary schools in the West Midlands. As a Cover Supervisor, you will manage the classroom in the absence of the teacher, ensuring students remain on task and engaged with pre-prepared work. This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates, teaching assistants, or individuals considering a career in teaching who want to gain valuable classroom experience.
The Role
- Deliver pre-set lessons and maintain a positive learning environment
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Support students to stay focused and complete set work
- Liaise with teaching staff and report on student progress and behaviour
- Contribute to the wider school community with professionalism and enthusiasm
About You
- You will be confident and adaptable, with strong classroom management skills
