First For Education is seeking a patient and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive mainstream school in Birmingham, working with pupils who require additional support to access learning. This is a full-time, ongoing position, supporting pupils within a mainstream classroom environment. The role may involve working on a 1:1 basis or with small groups, depending on the needs of the school.

SEN Teaching Assistant role requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or SEN TA
- Experience supporting pupils with SEND in a mainstream school setting
- Understanding of needs such as ASD, ADHD, SEMH or speech and language difficulties
- Ability to build strong, supportive relationships with pupils
- Strong communication and behaviour management skills
