First For Education are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher to work within secondary schools across Dudley. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator who is committed to inspiring a love of literature and language while supporting pupils to achieve their full potential. This role is suitable for ECTs and experienced teachers, with opportunities available on a short-term, long-term, or permanent basis. You must hold a QTS qualification to be considered for this role.
The Role:
- Deliver high-quality English lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
- Plan engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Assess, track, and report on pupil progress effectively
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and safeguarding
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have experience teaching English in a UK secondary school
- Demonstrate strong classroom management and communication skills
- Be passionate about pupil progress and wellbeing
- Hold (or be willing to apply for) an enhanced DBS on the update service
