Reporting to the Sales Manager, the post holder will play a vital role in the growth of the business. Working in a fast-paced environment as a member of the sales team, the post holder will meet the needs of existing clients and seek opportunities to extend our client base further. Processing a high volume of inbound sales calls, taking orders, payments, and processing sales. They will build strong customer relationships and maintain customer accounts which will include making outbound calls. The role is demanding as well as rewarding and therefore requires flexibility, drive, and initiative.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive Sales Growth: Utilise your excellent communication skills to process a high volume of inbound calls, effectively converting inquiries into sales. Leverage your customer service skills and ability to build rapport to identify client needs and upsell additional products or services. Employ your objection handling skills to address client concerns and secure business opportunities.
- Maintain Strong Client Relationships: Build trust and rapport with assigned clients through effective communication (written and verbal). Proactively reach out to clients, demonstrating your knowledge of their needs and offering solutions that contribute to their success. Maintain accurate customer account information within the CRM (e.g., Salesforce) using your strong attention to detail.
- Optimise Sales Workflow: Utilise your organisational and time management skills to prioritise workloads, meet deadlines, and efficiently manage the sales cycle from initial contact to closing. Collaborate effectively with the sales team to share best practices and contribute to a positive work environment (demonstrating teamwork and initiative).
- Embrace Continuous Learning: Remain adaptable by quickly learning new systems (including in-house software) and keeping up-to-date with industry trends and departmental changes. Proactively seek out opportunities to expand your knowledge and identify potential upsell opportunities, demonstrating a "can-do" attitude.
