The Sales Administrator Team Leader will play a vital role in driving the sales admin team to new heights! Working as a team, you will be able to make the most out of every opportunity and provide truly excellent customer service for all our customers, whilst developing your team as a priority.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service: Act as a key link with Sales and Customer Service. Serve as an escalation point for complex or challenging customer calls and inquiries, ensuring resolution is reached promptly and professionally, monitor team call quality and adherence to customer service standards, providing immediate coaching and feedback to ensure maximum customer satisfaction and retention.
- KPI Management: Monitoring team performance against KPIs, advising of areas for improvement or training. Preparing various reports, spot checks, and providing feedback, including analysing daily reports to help support growth and potential within the team and reporting back to the Sales Manager.
- Training and Development: Ensure comprehensive and ongoing training is provided to all colleagues on product knowledge, actively coach and mentor team members to foster professional development and build a high performing team culture.
- Managing People: Lead, motivate, and inspire the team with a positive, results-driven approach. Conduct all necessary HR management duties, including mid-month reviews, observations, and feedbacks, communicating as required with the Sales Manager on performance reviews, disciplinary procedures, and return-to-work interviews.
- Sales Support: Assist sales representatives with preparing quotes and proposals for prospective clients, reach out to customers via phone to follow up on quotations.
- Collaboration: Provide support to other key roles in the business where required through the admin team, by covering hire inbox, account applications and reception calls.
- Order Processing: Process sales orders accurately and efficiently, entering orders into the system and contact customers for any missing information and assist with enquiries.
