Position: We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic Marketing Manager with a proven track record in marketing management, ideally originating from the hardware, building supplies, industrial manufacturing, or fencing sectors. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for driving the marketing vision across two distinct international markets, ensuring our brand message is impactful, cohesive, and commercially successful.
Key Responsibilities- Marketing Strategy: Develop and deliver marketing plans for UK and US markets, aligned with commercial goals and informed by market trends.
- Product Launches: Coordinate go-to-market activity with product teams, ensuring timelines, messaging, and assets are aligned.
- Campaign Management: Plan and execute campaigns across channels, managing budgets, defining KPIs, and tracking ROI.
- PR & Trade Content: Create and manage press releases, articles, and trade publication content to build brand visibility and authority.
- Email Marketing: Oversee email campaigns including segmentation, content, scheduling, and performance optimisation.
- Catalogue Management: Maintain and update digital and print catalogues, ensuring accuracy, usability, and alignment with sales strategy.
- Creative Production: Produce marketing assets using tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud or Canva for digital and print use.
- Events & Exhibitions: Manage trade shows and events, including logistics, promotion, and lead generation.
- Social Media: Manage social channels, plan content, engage audiences, and strengthen brand presence.
- Brand Management: Ensure consistent use of brand guidelines across all communications.
- Technical Content: Oversee specification sheets, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and clarity for industry audiences.
- Key Stakeholder Reporting: Deliver regular performance reports with clear insights against KPIs.
- Visual Content Creation: Utilise design software, including Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Canva, to produce, edit, and standardise engaging visual collateral for multi-channel campaigns.
- Strategic Campaign Management: Lead on the strategic planning and end-to-end execution of comprehensive marketing programmes, ensuring all initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with overarching commercial objectives.
- Data Analysis & Optimisation: Monitor and analyse campaign performance metrics using Google Analytics, CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), and social insights, proactively optimising strategies to maximise Return on Investment (ROI).
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate seamlessly across departments, liaising effectively with sales teams, senior stakeholders, and external agencies to ensure a cohesive brand message and smooth lead generation processes.
- Education: A recognised diploma or higher degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in Marketing Management, Business, or a related discipline is highly desirable.
