Hours: 42.5 hours per week, between 08:00 - 18:00

Position

We’re seeking a skilled Automated Gate and Hardware Sales Coordinator to drive sales of automated gates, access control, and hardware solutions for residential and commercial clients. As a product expert, you’ll guide customers to the best solutions, manage a dynamic sales pipeline, and help grow our market presence through exceptional service and industry knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Customer Consultation & Sales: Build strong relationships, assess customer needs, and recommend suitable automated gate and hardware solutions.
  • Business Development & New Customer Acquisition: Proactively seek out and secure new customers, build and develop your own client base, and identify opportunities to grow revenue within your territory.
  • Pipeline & Lead Management: Generate leads, maintain an organised sales pipeline, and keep CRM records current to ensure accurate reporting, accurate forecasting, and timely follow‑ups.
  • Booking & Installation Project Management: Take full ownership of your installation projects, including booking works, coordinating schedules, liaising with subcontractors, and ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and on time.
  • Customer Logistics and Operations: Keep customers informed throughout the transaction, fabrication, and delivery timescales, ensuring smooth coordination and efficient delivery and installation on site.
  • Upselling & Cross‑Selling: Identify and recommend additional products and services, including service and maintenance packages, to enhance customer value and satisfaction.
  • Market Analysis & Strategy: Conduct Market Selling Comparisons (MSC), monitor market trends, and stay informed about product advancements and competitor activity.
  • Financial Performance & Accountability: Take responsibility for monitoring and managing your own gross profit (GP) and revenue performance, ensuring sales are commercially viable and aligned with company targets.
  • Customer Support & Issue Resolution: Provide support throughout the sales and installation process, ensuring customer satisfaction and addressing any issues promptly and professionally.

Requirements

  • Proven sales experience in automated gates, hardware, or related technical fields.
  • Strong customer service, technical knowledge retention, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (ideally Sales Force) and pipeline management.
  • Ability to identify market trends, and deliver quick, competitive quotes.
  • Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and relationship‑building abilities.
