You will be responsible for picking and preparing bulk stock movements for dispatch to our nationwide depots.
You will have to handle large, heavy, sometimes awkward size products - skilled forklift drivers are essential
Reporting to: Depot Manager
Operational responsibilities
- Picking large-volume orders accurately using a forklift truck.
- Loading and unloading articulated vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Moving stock throughout the warehouse and external yard.
- Ensuring every order is picked accurately and dispatched on time.
- Carrying out daily forklift safety checks.
- Maintaining stock accuracy and assisting with stock counts.
- Reporting damaged stock or shortages.
- Keeping warehouse locations organised and clearly identified.
- Following all health and safety procedures.
- Working closely with the transport, planning and purchasing teams to ensure depot replenishment targets are achieved.
