A REVIT BIM Manager is required to lead Building Information Modelling (BIM) implementation and coordination across RIBA Stages 4–6 (Technical Design, Construction, and Handover) for complex industrial and energy sector projects. This role is pivotal in driving digital transformation, enhancing collaboration, and ensuring data integrity across the asset lifecycle.

As the REVIT BIM Manager, you will report functionally to the CSA Discipline Manager and at a project level to the CSA Lead Engineer.

Key Responsibilities
  • BIM Leadership and Strategy
    • Develop and implement project-specific BIM Execution Plans (BEPs).
    • Ensure compliance with ISO 19650, client BIM protocols, and digital delivery standards.
    • Lead BIM coordination meetings, manage clash detection, and drive resolution processes.
  • RIBA Stage 4–6 Delivery
    • Oversee the development of coordinated technical design models (Stage 4).
    • Support construction teams with federated models and digital workflows (Stage 5).
    • Manage data handover and asset information models for operational use (Stage 6).
  • Specifications and Documentation
    • Integrate NBS Chorus or similar platforms into BIM workflows.
    • Ensure alignment between model data and specification content.
    • Collaborate with design teams to maintain consistency across drawings, models, and specifications.
  • Collaboration and Coordination
    • Liaise with multidisciplinary teams including CSA, MEP, and process engineering.
    • Coordinate with contractors and supply chain partners to ensure model fidelity and constructability.
    • Facilitate integration of BIM with 4D scheduling and 5D cost estimation.
  • Quality and Compliance
    • Conduct model audits and ensure data accuracy and consistency.
    • Monitor adherence to BIM protocols and project standards.
    • Support digital QA/QC processes and contribute to continuous improvement.
  • Technology and Innovation
    • Champion the use of digital tools such as Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360, and NBS.
    • Explore opportunities for automation, parametric design, and digital twin integration.
    • Provide training and mentoring to project teams on BIM and specification best practices.

About You

You will have a proven track record delivering BIM across RIBA Stages 4–6, with 5–7 years of BIM experience, including at least 3 years in industrial or energy projects. A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field is required, along with strong knowledge of ISO 19650, PAS 1192, and Common Data Environments (CDEs). Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360, and NBS Chorus is essential, as well as experience with 4D/5D BIM, COBie, and asset data management. Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills are also necessary.

Familiarity with IFC, open BIM workflows, and scripting tools (e.g., Dynamo, Python) is a plus.
