Overview Of The RoleKX is hiring a Senior IT Support Engineer, the successful candidate will be performance and results oriented, possessing a drive and energy to achieve goals in a timely and effective manner. This is a technical role which will function as an escalation point within the IT team for Level 2 and 3 support. The ideal candidate will be able to ensure timely and accurate communication of all relevant support or project issues, alongside timely escalation of problematic items to line management and an ability to work on their own initiative to identify and resolve issues and suggest technical improvements.Key Responsibilities Level 2 & 3 Support and technical guidance within the IT teamAdministration and management of Active Directory, AD Connect, Office365 and Entra IDManagement of Windows based IT Services such as email and file sharing delivered via Microsoft technologies such as Windows, Office 365, OneDrive, SharePoint Online and TeamsProvide Desktop support services to all KX staff – local and remote support across multiple Operating System environments including Windows, macOS, Android, iOS and LinuxWork as part of the wider technology team to help deliver IT Projects such as environment-wide software deployments, system integrations and introduction of technical innovationsDeliver excellent user experience to the highest standards, while actively contributing to the improvement of IT departmental processes and proceduresManage KX Internal telecoms and video conferencing systems including Zoom, Teams and RingCentral.Manage software patching and upgrades via MDMManage the corporate security infrastructure (Defender EDR, Data Loss Prevention policies, Anti-Spam & Anti-Phishing policies etc.)Administration of Apple Business Manager, JAMF Pro MDM and Microsoft Endpoint Manager (InTune)Administration and management of Printers and cloud printing technologiesEssential Experience4 plus years’ experience supporting Windows 10/11 based systems 4 plus years’ experience supporting Microsoft Windows Server 4 plus years’ experience supporting Active Directory 4 plus years’ experience supporting SharePoint Online Proven knowledge of Microsoft 365 tenant Proven knowledge of Microsoft Entra (Azure) and Endpoint Manager (Intune) Teamwork: experience of working in a teamSkills Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive Good interpersonal skills Strong troubleshooting skills Ability to work on own initiative Effective communication: Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills Flexible attitudePreferred QualificationsPowerShell scripting experience is a distinct advantageLocation & Workplace TypeHybrid working model based out of our Belfast office with 2-3 days per week on site.Why Choose KX Data Driven: We lead with instinct and follow fact.
