Job Summary
A highly effective interim Manager with over 10 years NHS experience, predominantly within Acute Trusts. Experienced within Surgery, Urology, Women’s & Children’s, Orthopaedics and Cardiology.
Key responsibilities and achievements include:
- Successfully managed and monitored all pathways, including 18 Week and cancer 2 Week Wait targets at a large London based Foundation Trust.
- Expertly redesigned and implemented patient pathways to ensure compliance with 18 Weeks and to improve the patient experience through use of clinical engagement.
- Held responsibility for monitoring all 18 Week data across two large directorates to ensure they achieved targets.
- Attended and contributed to bed meetings ensuring there was capacity to accommodate all elective patients.
- Managed the cancer tracking team and ensured all cancer patients were treated within targets at an under performing Trust.
Additionally, the candidate is a Prince2 Practitioner qualified Project Manager with experience in large-scale Covid-19 Response Programmes and holds an MBA, Prince2 Practitioner, and Managing Successful Programmes (MSP) Practitioner status.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and reporting skills, coupled with the drive to improve services. They will be a highly professional and organised Senior Manager with a clinical background and over 20 years’ experience in the NHS.
