Responsibilities:
- Aid General Managers and Clinical Leads by reducing length of stay and resolving delays in discharge processes.
- Manage and deliver Cost Improvement Plans (CIPs) and Quality, Innovation, Productivity & Prevention (QIPP) schemes.
- Manage 18 weeks referral-to-treatment (RTT) processes and waiting list initiatives, including improving processes to ensure quality of care and services are not compromised.
- Lead the strategy and business planning cycle for a Foundation Trust, including monitoring and reporting performance to the Executive Team and converting business plans into major programmes.
- Write business cases up to the value of £2m.
- Monitor and set up extra clinics for under-performing specialities and those at risk of under-performing.
- Plan and prioritise workload to deliver projects within expected timescales as a methodical, end-results focused individual.
Qualifications:
- Prince2 Practitioner qualified Project Manager of a large-scale Covid-19 Response Programme.
- Highly qualified having obtained MBA, Prince2 Practitioner and Managing Successful Programmes (MSP) Practitioner status.
- RGN qualified Operational Manager with a strong background in management of operating theatres wards, sterile services.
- A Prince2 qualified Operational Service Manager with a solid track record of various healthcare specialisms.
- Expertise in RTT Process mapping and Project Implementation.
- A clinician by background, highly experienced senior manager with a proven ability and track record.
