Our Client, based in the Northern Home Counties, is seeking to recruit an Interim Operational Manager for a busy Emergency Department for at least a 3 month period whilst a substantive recruitment process takes place.
Responsibilities include:
- Operational management of all patient services within the Emergency Department.
- Delivery of all operational performance targets, including waiting lists, finance, and the quality of services to patients.
- Improving services towards best practice standards within the available income.
- Ensuring the achievement of objectives within the Emergency Department performance framework.
- Co-ordinating the Emergency Department's formulation of operational plans to contribute to the achievement of the Divisional plan.
- Working closely with the Performance and Business Development Manager, Clinical Directors, and Assistant Director of Nursing to achieve the Division's service objectives.
- Supporting the delivery of a high quality, safe, and compassionate healthcare service.
