Interim Operational Manager – Obs & Gynae

Rate: Band 8b/8c agency cap equivalent
Start date: October 2019
Duration: 2-3 months initially
Location: East of England

Responsibilities:

• Reporting to the Divisional Director, this post will provide operational management and support to a number of services including Obs, Gynae, and Cancer.
• Provide strong and effective leadership to specific clinical and non-clinical teams and individuals.
• Ensure the achievement of national access targets including 18 week RTT and cancer targets.
• Support the establishment of a clear vision for these specific work areas with senior colleagues to create a working environment that empowers staff to achieve optimal performance.
• Support the clinical team and other Divisional managers in ensuring the specialty can deliver safe and effective services.
• Contribute to the wider management of the Directorate and of the Trust on specific projects as and when appropriate.
