Interim Operational Manager – Emergency Department

Hourly rate: Dependant on experience

Location: East of England

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the operational management of all patient services within the Emergency Department.
• Delivery of all operational performance targets, including waiting lists, finance, and the quality of services to patients, improving services towards best practice standards within the available income.
• Ensure the achievement of objectives within the Emergency Department performance framework, ensuring that approved budgets are spent effectively.
• Co-ordinate the Emergency Department\’s formulation of operational plans, ensuring that these contribute to the achievement of the Divisional plan.
• Work closely with the Performance and Business Development Manager, Clinical Directors, and Assistant Director of Nursing to achieve the Division’s service objectives.
• Support the delivery of a high-quality, safe, and compassionate healthcare service.
