Responsibilities
- This post will provide general operational management and business support to the cardiology department.
- Taking on specific projects for the cardiology division and deputising for the DM at meetings.
- Oversee the day-to-day business management of the cardiology service.
- Manage Laboratories, diagnostics, 18 weeks RTT and fast track clinics.
- Provide strong and effective leadership to specific clinical and non-clinical teams and individuals.
- Support the establishment of a clear vision for these specific work areas with senior colleagues to create a working environment that empowers staff to achieve optimal performance.
- Contribute to the wider management of the directorate and of the Trust on specific projects and transformation as and when appropriate.
