Interim Assistant Director of Operations (Elective Care)

Daily rate: Band 9 – £67.50 per hour – Agency Cap – IR35 Caught
Start date: ASAP
Duration: 6 months
Location: Yorkshire

  • To be directly responsible to the Executive Director of Governance and Operations for the strategic and operational management of the following services:
    • Centralised Patient Booking Service
    • Centralised Out Patient services
    • Delivery of Access targets: RTT and Non RTT Performance
    • Cancer Services and Performance against Standards
  • Work closely with clinical and managerial colleagues to ensure that the Trust has clear and deliverable trajectories for the delivery of elective access and cancer standards.
  • Support the Director of Governance and Operations in the delivery of all aspects of strategic and operational performance relating to the job purpose.
  • Work with the Assistant Director of Operations (Urgent Care), Director of Transformation and Assistant Director of Governance & Risk to ensure that safe, responsive, effective and efficient patient care is consistently delivered throughout the organisation.
  • Support the Director of Governance and Operations and Assistant Director of Operations (Urgent Care) in preparing the organisation for EPR operational readiness.
  • Support the delivery of the elective access improvement programme and the out patient improvement programme.
