First Class Supply are currently experiencing very high demand for Design Technology Teachers within secondary schools in areas throughout Gateshead. A range of daily and longer term opportunities are available offering both full and part time hours, meaning we are able to provide you with a position that suits your lifestyle. For those interested in longer term positions, we will be happy to discuss potential roles.
We require teachers who:
- have an exceptional work ethic and a proven record of exemplary classroom practice
- are pro-active, enthusiastic, energetic and reliable
- are flexible to work at short notice as and when the need arises
- hold a relevant teaching qualification and QTS
- have recent experience / knowledge of teaching Design Technology within the UK National Curriculum.

Please note that the pay rate will depend of the level of experience and qualification achieved by the post holder.
Applicants will attend a face-to-face interview, be expected to undergo reference checks and an enhanced DBS disclosure (if not currently held).
