Working Hours: Monday - Friday. Basic 42.5 hour week, starting at 7.30am. Travel time undertaken for business purposes will be paid in accordance with company policy.

First Class Builders carries out a full range of general building and construction works, including renovations and refurbishments, extensions, conversions, and kitchen design and installation. Our company specialises in carrying out works for those with limited mobility and disability as well as vulnerable adults and children, so the design and installation of products will vary according to the clients' needs.
About the Role
Due to continued growth, we are looking to expand our team. We are seeking a versatile and experienced multi-skilled carpenter with transferable skills across various trades and previous experience in domestic bathroom and kitchen installations. This exciting and varied role is based within a well-established local and independent business. The position is responsible for undertaking all types of carpentry work, including first and second fix carpentry, installation of windows, kitchens, stud walls, skirting and architraves, and aid and adaptation installations. The role will cover the whole of the South Devon area, so a full driving licence is essential.
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
- Previous experience in carpentry or construction.
- Carpentry certification and skills.
- Understanding of the construction or carpentry industry.
- Highly motivated, able to work comfortably as part of a team but also independently.
- Excellent customer service skills and a professional image.
- Ability to deal effectively with a wide variety of public and private sector clients in a courteous and respectful manner.
