We’re supporting a well-established law firm in Essex that is continuing to grow its residential conveyancing offering. They are now seeking a confident fee earner to manage a varied caseload while being part of a supportive, down-to-earth team culture.
What you’ll be doing
- Manage a busy and varied caseload of residential property matters, typically 25–30 new files per month, including:
- Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- New build transactions
- Transfers of equity
- Managing files from instruction through to completion
- Providing clear, practical advice to clients throughout the process
- Building and maintaining strong client and referrer relationships
- Supervising support staff where required
- Ensuring compliance with internal procedures, billing, and time recording
- Contributing to the continued growth and development of the conveyancing department
What we’re looking for
- 3+ years’ PQE as a Conveyancing Fee Earner, Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or Legal Executive
- Strong experience handling a full residential conveyancing caseload
- A proactive, positive approach and the confidence to work independently
- Excellent communication and client-care skills
- Strong IT skills and a willingness to support business development
- Ambition to progress within a growing team
