Conveyancing Paralegal Responsibilities
- Acting as a professional first point of contact for clients', developers, brokers and other parties
- Processing clients' initial onboarding documentation, including carrying out ID checks, reviewing proof of funds and progressing matters through the early stages of new build transactions.
- Working within Infotrack (training will be provided)
- Preparing completion statements.
- Dealing with LISA and HTB ISA withdrawals
- Dealing with NHBC warranty portals
- Completing Local Authority, Chancel and other relevant pre-exchange searches
- Preparing Stamp Duty Land Tax Forms and Land Registry Form
- Assisting with general team administration
- Working collaboratively to support team targets and KPIs
- Dealing with exchange and completion work.
- Assisting with source of funds/AML checks.
Conveyancing Paralegal Requirements
- Ideally you will have 3 years' experience as a Conveyancing Paralegal
- Strong understanding of residential conveyancing processes
- Knowledge of build transactions would be beneficial
- Confident liaising with clients, developers, brokers and third parties
- Ability to manage onboarding tasks including ID checks, proof of funds and AML processes
- Experience preparing completion statements, SDLT forms and Land Registry documentation
- Familiarity with pre-exchange searches (Local Authority, Chancel etc.)
- Comfortable working within case management systems (Infotrack training provided)
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to supporting team targets and KPIs
