Legal Assistant

We have an opportunity available for a Commercial Property Team Legal Assistant / Paralegal, to work for a well-established and well-regarded law firm, based in Southend-on-Sea. This offers a salary of £25,000 to £30,000 depending on your experience.

The working hours are Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5.30 pm, with one hour for lunch. This is a full-time, office-based, permanent position, and unfortunately pat-time, hybrid, and remote options are not available.

As the Commercial Property Team Legal Assistant / Paralegal you will be working within an established, busy, and growing commercial property team. Full training and support will be provided. This offers an opportunity to work alongside partners in commercial teams to gain valuable experience, assisting on significant deals. You will be responsible for administering virtual data rooms, completing Companies House and Land Registry filings, preparing completion bibles, drafting documents, carrying out research tasks and liaising with clients and professional contacts. They are looking for someone who is highly organised, with strong attention to detail, who can provide comprehensive support to the commercial property team.

To be considered for this Commercial Property Team Legal Assistant / Paralegal opportunity you will need…

• To live within a reasonable distance of Southend-on-Sea.
• To be bright, enthusiastic, and ideally have some Legal Assistant or Paralegal experience, or a relevant degree.
• Some experience within Commercial Property would be beneficial, but not essential.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook Email.
• To be a friendly and approachable team player.
