Conveyancing Paralegal Responsibilities

  • Acting as a professional first point of contact for clients’, developers, brokers and other parties
  • Processing clients’ initial onboarding documentation, including carrying out ID checks, reviewing proof of funds and progressing matters through the early stages of new build transactions.
  • Working within Infotrack (training will be provided)
  • Preparing completion statements.
  • Dealing with LISA and HTB ISA withdrawals
  • Dealing with NHBC warranty portals
  • Completing Local Authority, Chancel and other relevant pre-exchange searches
  • Preparing Stamp Duty Land Tax Forms and Land Registry Form
  • Assisting with general team administration
  • Working collaboratively to support team targets and KPIs
  • Dealing with exchange and completion work.
  • Assisting with source of funds/AML checks.

Conveyancing Paralegal Requirements

  • Ideally you will have 3 years’ experience as a Conveyancing Paralegal
  • Strong understanding of residential conveyancing processes
  • Knowledge of build transactions would be beneficial
  • Confident liaising with clients, developers, brokers and third parties
  • Ability to manage onboarding tasks including ID checks, proof of funds and AML processes
  • Experience preparing completion statements, SDLT forms and Land Registry documentation
  • Familiarity with pre-exchange searches (Local Authority, Chancel etc.)
  • Comfortable working within case management systems (Infotrack training provided)
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to supporting team targets and KPIs
