An ambitious independent commercial insurance brokerage experiencing significant growth is looking for a driven New Business Account Executive to help develop its commercial client base. This is very much a growth-focused role for someone who is commercially minded, entrepreneurial and confident developing their own pipeline and winning new commercial clients. The brokerage is continuing to invest in its team, organic new business and acquisitions and is looking for someone who wants the opportunity to build a meaningful book of business as the company continues to scale.
New Business Account Executive – Responsibilities
- Develop your own pipeline of new commercial insurance opportunities
- Prospect for and develop new business
- Win new commercial clients
- Build strong relationships and networks
- Develop your own opportunities rather than relying entirely on provided leads
- Build a meaningful book of commercial business
- Contribute to the continued growth of the brokerage
New Business Account Executive – Requirements
- Proven commercial insurance experience
- Commercially minded with a strong new-business focus
- Strong relationship-building skills
- Confident networking and developing new opportunities
- Comfortable prospecting and generating your own pipeline
- Entrepreneurial, driven and hungry to succeed
- Existing network or book of relationships would be attractive
- Strong personality and attitude with the desire to grow alongside the business
Salary & Commission
- The remuneration package is deliberately flexible.
- The business is open to different combinations of basic salary and performance-related commission, depending on the individual's experience and track record.
- For the right candidate, the company is prepared to put together a package that properly rewards new business production.
