Field Service Technician for their top client near Dover, DE.
This is a Direct Hire opportunity, offering a competitive starting hourly rate, Time & Half / Double-Time for Overtime, Company Vehicle, Medical Benefits & Insurance, 401(k), PTO/Vacation, and opportunity for career advancement!
Field Service Tech's will be responsible for traveling to customer sites in the Northeast, providing technical guidance and training in the setup and operations of start-of-the-art heavy equipment, completing equipment breakdowns, rebuilds and repairs.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or equivalent diploma, with a minimum of 5+ years of experience repairing, overhauling, and servicing heavy equipment, diesel engines, hydraulic systems, multipurpose rigs, motors, tractors, and/or specialized construction equipment.
- Experience troubleshooting equipment breakdowns and diagnosing electrical and hydraulic circuits utilizing diagnosis equipment including, pressure gauges, dial indicators, and multimeters.
- Must be familiar with heavy equipment repair and maintenance, including OSHA regulations.
- Background in repairing hydraulic systems, impact hammers, engines, fuel systems, and electrical systems.
- Must have ability to read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics and manufacturer written service manuals.
- Valid Driver's license is required, and ability to obtain a CDL.
Must be able to lift 80 pounds, flexibility with repetitive movements and be able to work in all weather conditions.
- Position requires 50% travel to customer sites in the US.
