Our independently UK Freight Forwarding Client is looking to recruit an experienced Air Freight Forwarder with multi modal transport knowledge.

The role
- Will involve handling all aspects of airfreight logistics from start to finish, including quoting clients directly and negotiating for supplier buying power.
- Processing essential documentation required by customers and suppliers including airway bills, invoices and customer entries.
- Maintaining strict compliance with export regulations.
- Updating and maintaining accurate information in our Freight software.
- Tracking freight.
- Whilst confident on the telephone, there may be opportunity to visit the hauler warehouse to coordinate documents and problem solve.
- Overall aim is to assist with their Manchester operations by providing each and every customer, as well as partners overseas, with the most reliable and personalized services available.

- Proven track record of Air Freight Forwarding operations.
- Previous use of Cargowise or ASM Gems or Sequoia for customs.
