Hours: Monday to Friday | 08:00 - 18:00 (1-hour lunch)

We're currently recruiting for a Customer Service Clerk to join a busy and well-established freight forwarding business. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with excellent communication and organisational skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced office environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recording incoming freight accurately onto the internal system.
  • Booking transport and collections over the phone.
  • Updating customer bookings and shipment information.
  • Responding to customer enquiries via email and telephone.
  • Providing administrative support to the operations team.
  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring a high level of customer service.

About You:

  • Previous customer service or administration experience is beneficial but not essential.
  • Confident communicating with customers by phone and email.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Well organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Able to work efficiently in a busy team environment.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
