Due to an increase in business and growth, our client is expanding the team and looking to recruit a Pricing Clerk to join the Commercial Team (Air/Ocean). We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual who can quickly handle a fast-paced environment. Pricing and negotiating experience within the freight industry is desirable but we will also consider someone wanting to move from Operations.
Duties include:
- Pricing and producing sales quotes for existing and potential customers.
- Provide outstanding customer service and product knowledge to clients.
- Inputting and maintaining quotations on the central system.
- Identify customer needs/requests and satisfy them profitably.
- Clarify any discrepancies as they arise and adjust in a timely manner to avoid further issues.
- Keep sales and cost tariffs updated.
