Due to an increase in business and growth, our client is expanding the team and looking to recruit a Pricing Clerk to join the Commercial Team (Air/Ocean). We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual who can quickly handle a fast-paced environment. Pricing and negotiating experience within the freight industry is desirable but we will also consider someone wanting to move from Operations.

Duties include:

  • Pricing and producing sales quotes for existing and potential customers.
  • Providing outstanding customer service and product knowledge to clients.
  • Inputting and maintaining quotations on the central system.
  • Identifying customer needs/requests and satisfying them profitably.
  • Clarifying any discrepancies as they arise and adjusting in a timely manner to avoid further issues.
  • Keeping sales and cost tariffs updated.
  • Following up quotations and monitoring feedback.
  • Liaising with suppliers, airlines, ocean lines, and hauliers.
  • Assisting with tenders.

This role is working Monday to Friday 9am-5.30pm or 8am-4:30pm.
