The predicted salary is between 13 - 22 £ per hour.
Due to busy demands, our well-known Nationwide Distribution client is looking for Class 1 Drivers for Trunking at their busy Depot, with immediate start. Afternoon and night shifts on weekends are available, working 9 to 14 hour shifts - Minimum 8 hours guaranteed per shift.
You will need to have held a CE licence for a minimum of 12 months (for insurance purposes), with at least 3 continuous months worth of recent work showing on your Digi Card. Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with the smooth running of deliveries from depot to hub.
- Completing collection and delivery of goods whilst following company procedures (NO HAND BALLING) - NO MULTI DROP.
- Ensuring goods are safely secured and paperwork is in order.
- Following company security procedures.
- Keeping the vehicle clean at all times.
- Undertaking additional duties, or assisting other members of staff, as may be reasonably requested by your Manager or the Directors.
Knowledge/understanding required:
- Full UK (CE) driving license required.
- Good knowledge of the English language.
- CPC, digital tachocard.
- IT knowledge/understanding required.
- The ability to apply knowledge and understanding to the job.
- The ability to communicate effectively with the client and other members of staff in the operations and warehouse departments.
Attractive pay rates:
- Mon-Fri £18.15ph
- Mon-Fri O/T (After 8 hours) £25.25ph
- Sat £23.52ph
- Sat O/T (After 8 hours) £25.25ph
- Sun £26.25ph
- Holiday paid on top weekly.
