Our client is a well-established Heathrow Freight Forwarding agent who have an exciting new role available based out of their Slough Contract Logistics Centre for a Cross Border Administrator. The successful candidate will have good communication/customer service ability, IT skills (Word/Excel) and excellent verbal/written English together with a 2-year steady employment/education record/clear DBS check.
Reporting to and partnering with the Cross Border Manager and the team, you will support an international department to ensure robust customer services are achieved in line with the strategic direction of the department.
Responsibilities:- Invoicing administration
- Adding in WIPs and accruals onto files at the time of departure of shipments
- Responsible for duty invoicing for clients' shipments
- Sending invoices to clients after invoicing with supporting documentation
- Monitoring creditors accruals for timely input and accuracy
- Keeping all client rates up to date and in order
- Ensuring that invoicing is done in line with KPI
- Administration regarding tracking of shipments
- Booking of courier shipments when required
- Creation and completion of tracking sheets where required
- Creation of CMR documentation where required
- Experience working with or in the logistics sector, desirable but not essential
- Competent in MS Office
- Experience in working in accounts department
- Understanding of account procedures for debits and credits
- Excellent communication in English (verbal and written)

Hours: 09h00am-5.00pm with some weekend work on rotation
