The successful Sheet Metal Duct Worker will be able to read technical drawings, use a variety of hand and power tools, and ensure all work is completed safely, accurately, and to a high standard.
Duties: Fabricate sheet metal ductwork according to drawings and specifications.
Measure, cut, bend, shape, and assemble sheet metal components.
Install HVAC duct systems in commercial, industrial, and residential buildings.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and job specifications.
Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely and effectively.
Seal, insulate, and secure ductwork to meet industry standards.
Inspect completed work for accuracy, quality, and compliance with building regulations.
