Senior Transport Planner

Our client is seeking a Senior Transport Planner to join their expanding Transport department .

Role Overview

An exciting opportunity covering various niche markets within the transport sector.

Daily Duties and Requirements

1. Dealing with customers daily and monitoring key accounts.
2. Managing 20+ drivers, including daily specials and contract hire.
3. Participating in phone divert requirements and sharing weekend phone cover.
4. Possessing knowledge of transport and planning.
5. Having previous experience overseeing operational staff.
6. Experience with specialised dedicated transport is preferred.

Working Hours and Salary

Monday to Friday, 0800 – 1800. Overtime may be required as needed.

Salary: GBP 40,000, depending on experience.
