Seeking a Customs brokerage agent for the Manchester depot, on nights, 4on, 4off from 6pm to 6am. TTP contract. Excellent benefits for you to track and trace!

The role involves:

  • Processing the customs clearance on air, sea and road freight consignments for both imports and exports.
  • Ensuring all customs clearance declarations are submitted in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Receiving and preparing customs declarations documents.
  • Updating clearance status in a timely manner to customers.
  • Covering additional assignments as required to meet the organisation's needs.

Requirements:

  • Previous customs clearance experience, great advantage.
  • Some knowledge of Freight or Supply Chain Logistics, beneficial.
  • Basic accounting knowledge.
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
  • Good working knowledge of IT systems including MS Word, Excel and Customs Declaration software.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Positive, reliable, attention to detail and willing to help attitude.

Work Location: Trafford Park M17. Salary band: £28,000-£30,000. Holidays = 22+8. Employee benefits platform.
